About

I’m a front-end developer in Nairobi, working with small teams and independent businesses. Before this I worked in customer-facing jobs, which is where I got used to unclear briefs and to people who know what they want but not how to describe it.
I started building for the web because someone showed me and it stuck. I taught myself first, then did a bootcamp, then worked with a mentor, Gaby Karam. Those two gave me what teaching myself hadn’t: structure, and the habit of finishing things instead of leaving them half-built.
When I build something, what I check hardest is how it behaves on a slow connection and a cheap phone — the conditions most people actually visit in, and the first ones to get skipped. I’d rather hand over something plain that loads than something impressive that doesn’t.
What I’m looking for
A junior front-end role, in Nairobi or remote, and I’m available now. I take on freelance work alongside it — new sites and rebuilds — so either conversation is worth having.
